Declaration of Trust  


An agreement setting out the terms on which joint owners own property




Money paid by the buyer when Exchange of Contracts takes place (technically 10% of the purchase price but less by agreement). The deposit is lost if the buyer does not complete the purchase

Required when a property is advertised for sale or letting, it records the energy efficiency of a house.

Enquiries made before Exchange of Contracts which show any potential problems with past land use or contamination which an owner of the land might be required to put right


Fixtures and Fittings Form  


This lists what contents are included or excluded in the sale




If a property is freehold then the freehold owner can create leases or mortgages, grant rights over it and sell it without anyone else's permission. It is the highest form of land ownership
